Here’s another non-traditional musician that has a lot of popularity and success on YouTube. Lindsey Stirling the violinist/ performance artist. (No, really, she has, like, choreographed dance routines going on with her dubsteppish violin-ing. Unreal.)

Most people roll their eyes at classical music or classical musicians, but just give her a chance. This is no Mozart or Bach. She’s unlike any violin music you’ve heard before, and it’s really because she is able to incorporate today’s EDM and Dubstep into her medleys. Most of her popular vids are covers of famous radio hits, video game soundtracks, or movie scores, but she has moved into making original music. She even won a billboard music award for best Dance/Electronic album for her album from where this comes, Shatter Me.
