Update: Keeping Up With The Kardashians will return for Season 13 after all. Find out when it will premiere, and how much of Kim’s terrifying robbery will be discussed on the show.

It was only four short months ago that we announced that filming for Keeping Up with the Kardashians was put on hold indefinitely. This was in the wake of Kim Kardashian’s terrifying robbery in Paris. Kim was being accused of staging the entire thing for ratings. More details slowly began to emerge, leading everyone to realize that her experience wasn’t a sham after all. Kim stayed out of the media, and began to focus on restructuring her life, which would possibly include giving up her status as the queen of reality TV.

Fans of the Kardashians held their breath, meanwhile waiting to see when, or if the reality show would return. What would the world do on Sunday nights if we weren’t keeping up with the Kardashian’s anymore? However, a lot has happened in the last four months. Kim’s momager, Kris Jenner spoke on her behalf. As did her sisters, Kourtney, Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. Kanye had a break down, from what they said was exhaustion. Kim returned to social media slowly, but surely.

Then E! News announced that not only would KUWTK  return for season 13, but Kim’s discussions about the robbery for filming were therapeutic. Yes, all of the dramatic details will be revealed. In fact Kim plans on giving a play-by-play of the events, according to Kris via The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Drama means ratings, after all. Besides, the cameras are always rolling…Here’s how Kris explained it on Ellen:

"“When we started filming again and started getting up and running, obviously Kim was around because we all practically lived together on the same street. And we started filming and what was coming out of that was very therapeutic for her I think, just to explain to us and walk us through.”"

Apparently, Kim also feels that sharing the entire experience will bring awareness. Awareness of what, we’re not quite sure. It’s not likely that many of us in the real world will be robbed in Paris. Over millions of dollars worth of jewelry, I might add, but who knows. Meanwhile, her story is sure to bring some great ratings.

Go ahead and breathe that sigh of relief. The first family of reality TV still reigns. You can catch the season 13 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday, March 12, at 9pm on E! Network.
