There's rarely a slow week for video game news, and this week is no exception. There's so much to cover, so many new releases and new trailers and anniversaries!

Ashly Burch speaks out regarding AI

We covered this a bit last week in the Pixel Pack and also the fact that the SAG-AFTRA strike is still going on, but Ashly Burch made a TikTok discussing that AI version of Aloy that Sony debuted a few weeks ago has her concerned about the industry.

The leaked tech demo doesn't use any motion capture Burch did nor is it Burch's voice, but as she points out, Guerilla owns Aloy as a character. Burch brings up a lot of good points about being worried for the future of the industry, and you should watch the whole thing.

Dungeons of Hinterberg DLC

Last week we covered that Dungeons of Hinterberg is now available on PlayStation, but completely missed that there's a free DLC also available now: Episode Renaud.

You get to play through seven compact rifts as the mysterious Renaud that acts as a prequel to the game before Luisa shows up in Hinterberg. There's some mixing of combat mechanics, some fun new puzzles, and it was really nice to step back into this game.

Is GameCube making a comeback?

In a new filing with the FCC, Nintendo cites a "game controller" and matches up with the Switch 2. And fans have done a deep dive thinking that it's a GamecCube controller and that GameCube games may be coming to Nintendo Switch Online. It's an interesting read over at Nintendo Life if you're interested, and it wouldn't shock me if this turned out to be true.

Releases this week: Assassin's Creed Shadows

Yes, after being delayed what feels like a half dozen times, Assassin's Creed Shadows has finally launched on March 20, getting pretty positive reviews from most gaming outlets. Basically it sounds like if you enjoyed Valhalla, you'll enjoy Shadows, but if you want more details than that, check out our trusty Gameranx and their "Before You Buy."

More fuel for the Hollow Knight: Silksong fire

We'll take any morsel of news that comes out about Hollow Knight: Silksong. At ID@Xbox (andover on Xbox Wire), they name drop upcoming games and add on a "...and Hollow Knight: Silksong, too" at the end. Which makes us wonder if it won't be a title launch with the Nintendo Switch 2.

But it could also just be a tongue-in-cheek moment because fans have been waiting for an update for so long and Team Cherry keeps insisting that the game is still coming. We'll find out for sure at that next Nintendo Direct on April 2!

Game Informer returning?

It was teased across social media and then a YouTube video appeared, but come March 25, we may have some good news about Game Informer returning in some capacity, and I, for one, am absolutely here for it.

God of War's 20th anniversary

In celebration of its 20th anniversary on March 22, PlayStation.blog announced the Dark Odyssey Collection in-game for God of War: Ragnarok. It's a free update for anyone who owns the game. It's all cosmetics, but they're pretty cool. Originally a skin from God of War II for beating the game on God Mode, you get to be black and gold Kratos. There's armor sets for him, Freya, and Atreus, and appearance skins for weapons and shields.

FBC: Firebreak new gameplay trailer

You know us, we're here for whatever Remedy Entertainment is on about. This week it's a gameplay trailer for their upcoming 3-player co-op FPS game, FBC: Firebreak, which releases this summer. And it looks about as wacky as you'd expect playing as one of the elite response teams at the Oldest House.

Seriously, you'll never hear someone scream "Sticky Ricky" with such genuine horror anywhere else.

Will you be playing Assassin's Creed Shadows this week? Are you putting FBC: Firebreak on your wish list? Did Alan Wake write Sticky Ricky into existence? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
