Skittles Is Celebrating Pride Month With New Pride Packs

In celebration of Pride Month, Skittles is joining in with their limited-edition 2024 Skittles Pride packs.

According to the official press release, The Chief Marketing Officer, Mars Wrigley North America, stated,

Our SKITTLES Pride Pack and community celebrations are intended to inspire moments of everyday happiness by celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in a way that lets all unique colors shine.""

Over the course of 2024, Skittles will be sponsoring The Queer Big Apple Corps, Reeling Film Festival, Urban Bird Collective, Bay Area Derby, and Las Vegas Gaymers, which are five local LGBTQ+ community groups across the United States.

Skittles is also partnering up with GLAAD for a donor matching program. If you donate to GLAAD, you can receive a limited-edition Skittles pack, which will feature the 2024 Pride design.

GLAAD was founded in 1985 as a non-profit LGBTQ+ advocacy organization. GLAAD has been a firm presence in highlighting LGBTQ+ representation in many ways, including media, as the GLAAD awards emphasize the LGBTQ+ characters and relationships portrayed in television show and movies.

Willing to give money to the cause, Skittles will match every donation up to $25,000. If you are one of the first 500 donors to have your $75 or more gift matched, you will gain a hip pack with Skittles inside and patches to uniquely design your pack.

Skittles is also partnering with Meetup to endorse and help foster events and camaraderie surrounding events and resources for pickleball players, birders, bookworms, yogis, and gamers. It is important to be surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends or to find new relationships where everyone can embrace and show their happiest self.
