See the trailer for The Faceless Lady before it drops on Meta in April
Facebook is truly taking us into the future and Meta is the proof. That's why it's so cool to be able to talk about Eli Roth's The Faceless Lady.
Roth, Crypt TV and ShinAwiL all came together with Meta to create this unique VR exerience as it's a TV series. I don't know about you, but I've never heard of such a thing or even knew it was possible but it's such a fun idea.
The first two episodes are dropping on April 4th at 5:00 pm PST/8:00 pm EST so if you're on the East Coast, it'll already be dark. From there, the next four episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays. The only caveat is that you have to be part of Meta Horizon Worlds to watch it. If you pick the episodes when they air, you can watch them on-demand via Meta Quest TV.
If you don't own a Meta system, you can still head to Crypt TV's Facebook page to watch the first two episodes. Whether you own a system or not, you'll be able to see if the show is something you're into or not but let's get to the good part.
See the trailer for The Faceless Lady now!
If you're already logged into Facebook, then you should be able to watch this but if you're not, it's worth it to login and see this trailer. Let me start by saying that there is something about how characters behave in horror movies and The Faceless Lady is playing directly into that.
Plus it's by Eli Roth so I mean, what's not to like? Add in the extra scare factor since it's VR and you're ready to celebrate Halloween early or even, Summerween. There's also a game involved and that's enough to have me captivated. All in all, this seems like the ultimate spooky treat for the spring season.
For those who have Meta systems, I'm curious to hear just how scary and realistic this seems as horror is such a fun medium. Add in virtual reality and you're destined to be even more scared. If you're someone who doesn't have VR like me, we can only hope that Crypt TV or Meta decides to release all the episodes eventually. Until then, you can still enjoy the first two episodes via Crypt TV's Facebook page.
Will you be tuning into The Faceless Lady on Meta? Be sure to let us know your thoughts!
