School Is Out! Pretty Little Liars: Summer School is in Session

Season one of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin left a trail of popcorn crumbs for a possible return that left viewers itching for more on what is new with the 4 new liars. Much earlier, Max dropped the official trailer of the newest season of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.

The trailer opens with the four core liars sitting on the couch in the therapist's office as a recognized voice and face that appeared in the original series. This mirrors a much later season from the first Pretty Little Liars show that first premiered on ABC Family before its change to Freeform.

The trailer brings a nod to some most known horror movie slashers that star a female lead(s) as the final girl(s) who are enjoying the summer break until tragedy foils the summer plans. This newest season recap from last season while hyping viewers' curiosity to watch on Max of next month in May.

As getting a preview of the four liars devastation to find out that they have to attend summer school to Imogen (Bailey Madison), Tabby (Chandler Kinney), Faran (Zaria), and Mouse (Maia Pyles) standing outside the front of the school right as Kinney's character addresses how summer school is the worst thing.

We noticed that the trailer mirrors the original show by playing to the relevancy that some who favor the reboot series over others. Some may see a part of themselves during a time when viewers have to take a summer class while working part-time and going to either the beach or pool later.

Another thing that is different that goes unnoticed is Imogen and Faran's sporting new hairstyles is very fitting to the storytelling and character development of Imogen and Faran.
