If there's one luxury in life I'll always splurge on it, it's headphones. As someone who loves music and audiobooks, getting a new release from Maxell always gets me excited.

While I've tried the brand's headphones in the past, this is something completely different and it is the OWS Pro Open Wireless Earhooks. These have a slightly different design than you might be used to but are such a unique innovation so I had to give them a try and let you know all the details.

For those wanting to purchase a pair, all of the colors should be available on Amazon now. It has been pushed back for a while but Bubble Gum pink and Ocean blue should be in. If not, you can go with the classic Arctic White and still get the same effect. These are priced between $36.99 and $39.99 so a little pricey but sometimes you have to pay for that extra bit of quality.

Once charged, these give you 18 hours of playtime with 6 hours being for the earbuds. Additionally, the unique design allows you to hook it onto your ear, making it hands-free and something you don't have to worry about while going about your busy day. These are also great for using if you're multitasking as it allows you to still hear what's going on around you.

With all the details and important info out of the way, I wanted to share my thoughts after using these and trying them out for a few days. I was sent these by Maxell to try out and review so I wanted to make sure I let you know that. However, that will not be effecting my review or sharing of my thoughts.

Let me start by saying that the audio quality of these is incredible. When I first put them on, I was watching videos and I couldn't believe how great it was. Given the price point, that is easily the biggest reason why I'd grab a pair of these. Plus these are great if you're moving around the house, doing a workout, or just need something you know will stay in your ears. These didn't move at all once I got them situated comfortably on my ears.

The other incredibly cool thing is that these light up. Once they're charging or you're using them, the case changes colors. While that's nothing about the quality, it's such a fun touch. Additionally, the battery life on these is awesome so if you're looking for something to use for a long period of time, these are a great option. Honestly, I've tried a few different headphones of all types from Maxell and I've continued to be impressed.

While I can see why people wouldn't enjoy this design, it's incredibly functional, comes in 3 adorable colors, and has some of the best audio quality I've heard. No matter if you're grabbing a pair to use during your next workout, need a pair for an upcoming trip, or need something to blast Taylor Swift on, then these Maxell OWS Pro Wireless Earhooks are worth the investment.
