Inside Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extravagant Mumbai wedding

One of the highly discussed weddings of the year took place this weekend in Mumbai when Anant Ambani, the youngest child of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, wed Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare. The main celebration of the ceremony took place in the luxurious Jio World Centre, which alone contributed to the overall star-studded and magnificent atmosphere, accompanied by the presence of the numerous high ranking officials from all around the world.

The popular celebrities included the American reality television stars, Kim Kardashian, and her sister Khloe Kardashian wooed the people with their gorgeous dress code. When the Kardashians graced the event it was reminded that the Ambanis are an international business powerhouse.

Another guest of the Ambani’s is the bride’s friend, Priyanka Chopra who came with her husband, Nick Jonas. Desi fashion icon Chopra flaunted herself in a beautiful traditional Indian outfit to look even more beautiful and Jonas who is usually seen in Western clothes had a taste of formal Indian attire in a sherwani that was stitched for him.

Some global icons sat through the ceremony including the WWE superstar and actor John Cena. Cena was also present during this occasion enjoying interactions with other guests and increasing the star factor of the party even more.

Among the star-studded turnout, Nicky Hilton of the popular lodging chain graced the wedding with her life partner, James Rothschild. There were lavish food arrangements for the guests which were designed by famous chefs and included both Indian as well as intercontinental foods. From the furnishing and the décor, one got an Indian touch with a very modern outlook to the design, giving the place an elegant look, rich and luxurious.
