HHN dares guests to open the red door with Insidious: The Further haunted house

While Halloween Horror Nights warns guests to never go alone, the temptation of opening that red door dares everyone to step over the threshold. In Insidious: The Further, this haunted house delves into the fears that lurk in everyone’s nightmares.

Over the years, Halloween Horror Nights and Blumhouse Productions have created some of the most memorable, fearful experiences. From Black Phone to Happy Death Day, the Blumhouse team knows how to weave vivid storytelling with classic frights. While some haunted houses infused a touch of humor along the way, others plunged into the deep, dark places that have left a few lingering marks.

With the latest installment in this partnership, Insidious: The Further takes portions of the Insidious franchise and transforms them into dark, twisting scenes that will have people hiding their eyes. Even though the red door may look innocent enough, the awaiting terror brings blood-curdling screams.

According to the Universal Creative Team, Insidious: The Further follows the Lamberts. As one red door opens, the scenes reveal characters that have people averting their eyes. From the Red-Faced Demon to the Bride in Black, there is no happily ever after waiting at the end of this terrifying maze. While there might be light at the end of the tunnel, escape is futile.

The Insidious: The Further haunted house joins other announcements including Ghostbusters Afterlife, A Quiet Place, and several other original Universal stories. Additional announcements regarding haunted houses, scare zones, and other aspects of the annual Halloween event will be revealed leading up to the start of the event.

Halloween Horror Nights runs at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The Orlando event begins on August 30, 2024. The Hollywood event begins on September 5, 2024. Check with both theme parks for tickets, pricing, and available dates.
