Everything to know about The 100 convention Conageddon 4
Conageddon, the US-based The 100 convention in Boston, is getting ready for its fourth and, most likely, last initiation. For fans of the dystopian show, Conageddon is the event to attend due to its warm, intimate atmosphere, fun parties, and the connections made between fans and talent.
Moreover, Conageddon was created and launched by The 100 cast themselves, specifically Zach McGowan, Bob Morley, and Eliza Taylor. Their aspiration for the event was to develop positive interactions with fans, giving them more one-on-one time and gifting them with a long weekend experience they'll never forget. Because of this, Conagddon stands out above other conventions, not that the others have their magic dimmed out.
Back in August at Dragon Con, Bob Morley mentioned that his founded con was in discussion, raising hope in the fans. Tasya Teles also confirmed it; months of waiting and intricate planning took hold. The Friday before Thanksgiving, attendees could snag tickets when the website opened sharply at 9 AM (CST). I can't describe the feeling, but it connected another piece of my life puzzle, one that will have many more, as life does.
As somebody who attended Conageddon and will be again, words alone cannot express it. In order to feel the moment, one actually has to live in the moment. Not a second goes by without a smile, laughter, or that quick hug in the hall for the ultimate cheer-up. It's a place to feel safe, accepted, and loved.
When is Conageddon 4?
Conageddon 4 will happen Friday, March 15th, with a VIP Party to kick off the weekend. Then, it'll draw its curtains on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th. The entire event will be hosted at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts.
What will happen at Conageddon 4?
At Conageddon, anything is possible. From the fun photo ops to autograph signings, info-packed panels (moderated by the lovely Jo Garfein), VIP Green Rooms to take a rest or nap, personally engaging with The 100 cast, and so much more!
The schedule has been released on their official Twitter (and social channels) so attendees can make the most out of their days. While "jam-packed," it promises to be a fun and exciting weekend!
There'll also be merchandise vendors, including the very talented One Word At A Time.
As it'll be the tenth anniversary since The 100 premiered (March 19th, 2014), I expect Conageddon to be a big celebration in its honor. If anything, the show taught us how to accept ourselves and to fight for our rights, no matter the challenging obstacles ahead.
