3. Cruel Seduction

Coming in at the #3 spot on my list is Cruel Seduction. As the 5th book in the Dark Olympus series, there is already a lot of stakes going into it. However, Katee Robert really rose to the challenge and decided to do something completely different and it paid off in the best way.

Cruel Seduction follows the marriage of convenience between Aphrodite and Hephaestus with a few extra steps. First, the addition of Pandora and Adonis adds a deliciously sexy dynamic. This book also has so much action and plot-heavy moments that I couldn't put it any longer. While I'm first and foremost a romance reader, the plot and action-packed moments in Cruel Seduction caused it to end up much higher on my list.

2. Radiant Sin

This is where some of my fellow Dark Olympus readers might differ. The #2 spot on my list is going to Radiant Sin. This is for a few reasons so let me explain before you come for me. When it comes to romances, this one is more understated yet the relationship between Apollo and Cassandra feels different than the others.

These two feel like they're on opposing sides but in a way, it just works. There's something utterly delightful about that. Coupled with the plotline of this book, there was no way it was going to be any lower. While I won't get into any plot details, this one has a huge storyline that honestly effects the rest of the books from that point on. Of course, we have yet to see how this entire plan plays out but no doubt Katee Robert has something up their sleeve.
