CBS Renews Elsbeth For Season 2

It looks like Elsbeth is sticking around New York City a little longer as the CBS mystery series has been renewed for season two.

Elsbeth takes on a funny and mysterious approach as its leading untraditional character charms her way through each episode with a sense of whimsy that keeps the audience coming back.

Each episode includes guest-star appearances as every episode follows a different mystery that Elsbeth needs to unravel before the hour's conclusion. Simultaneously, she also must determine if the police Captain is considered a good or corrupt cop.

Even with the several week separation between Elsbeth's first two episodes, the CBS series was still able to come back with strong ratings. Quick-witted and light-hearted, Elsbeth understands the importance of the laid back mystery, that allows the viewers to walk away feeling amused and relaxed, rather than stressed out over the dramatic scenarios following their favorite characters.

Due to solid writing, strong cast, and enchanting characters, Elsbeth is stepping up as the next connection to the overall The Good Wife franchise.

Elsbeth still has plenty of episodes left to air in season one, and with the reveal that Captain Wagner may be realizing that Elsbeth is investigating him, the remaining episodes have the opportunity for Elsbeth to finally discover for certain if Captain Wagner is corrupt or not, which could put into question if her role in New York City and with the police may change.

Still, no matter how season one ends, fans can sit tight knowing that whatever cliffhanger Elsbeth throws at them, a guaranteed season two means not having to worry about never getting answers to season one's conclusion.
