Barbie aims for older fans in Mattel's latest doll lineup

For the girls who feel like they outgrew dolls, Barbie has a lineup of dolls ready for your return to Barbieland. Mattel's latest collection, the Dream Besties, features four brand-new dolls that have unique personalities, careers, hobbies, and styles.

The four new additions to the Barbie roster include Barbie "Malibu" Roberts, Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts, Teresa Rivera, and Renee Chao. Each of the four dolls comes with its own backstory that helps fans envision who this doll could be and how girls could be inspired by their stories.

Barbie "Malibu" Roberts has aspirations of being the CEO and founder of a makeup empire. Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts wants to become the next successful choreographer. Teresa Rivera sees her future starting up her own video game company. Renee Chao hopes to be found hosting her own food and travel show.

Various other Barbie dolls have highlighted different careers for the famous doll, such as being President, a doctor, a vet, an astronaut, a musician, an athlete, and more. This collection only continues to highlight the various dreams and careers women can achieve.
