Adopt Alix Earle's candy salad idea with General Mills

While the name "candy salad" might sound odd, it's a way to combine all your favorite candies and enjoy them. Alix Earle took it a step further, though.

Earle recently shared her take on the candy salad trend and decided to add some unlikely treats we haven't seen many people add. Even so, it ended up being incredibly well-balanced as far as candy salads go.

In particular, she used a lot of different General Mills products within the video including Gushers and Fruit by the Foot. There is one product she didn't feature which is surprising because who could forget about Fruit Roll-Ups?

Either way, I wanted to share the video and see if you agree with some of Alix's picks and share some suggestions from General Mills.

While we can't add Earle's TikTok, I wanted to share the link for those who want to see the full list of candies she used in her candy salad. However, the addition of Gushers and Fruit by the Foot is something I'd never think about adding. Even so, it was too ingenious to not share because if anything, it made me want to make my own candy salad.

For those who don't know, General Mills is the company behind some of the best candy salad additions including Gushers, Fruit by the Foot and Fruit Roll-Ups. Honestly, I think you could make a great candy salad with any or all of these products.

In particular, I feel like you could go with a rainbow theme and incorporate the Variety Pack of Gushers which features Strawberry and Tropical flavors. Then there's the Tropical Tie-Dye flavor of Fruit Roll-Ups and lastly, you can round it out with Berry Tie-Dye flavored Fruit by the Foot. Honestly, I feel like that would be a great candy salad on its own.

However, you can also go the classic route and include all the regular flavors like Strawberry Blast Fruit Roll-Ups, the Strawberry Gushers, and once again, the Berry Tie-Dye flavored Fruit by the Foot. I feel like you can't go wrong with any combination as General Mills has some of the best fruity and chewy treats out there. No matter what you're looking to add to your candy salad, you can count on Gushers, Fruit by the Foot, and Fruit Roll-Ups to always be a fave.
