Hugh

Hugh Normous only appeared in a handful of Wizards of Waverly Place episodes. But, he became a beloved recurring character and was quickly embraced by fans. Hugh's use of tiny things to show himself as a giant helped add charm and innocence to his character.

Although Hugh appeared to be more of Alex's friend than Justin's, Justin still shows kindness and warmth toward Hugh when they interact at PopCon during season two's "Harper Knows."

The last fans saw of Hugh was during Gorog's final defeat in season four's "Wizards vs. Everything" and although he had moved out to live on his own, otherwise, it was uncertain what would become of Hugh in the future. While his appearance would be a joyful experience for longtime fans, it would also be amusing to see where the character ended up.

Following Wizards of Waverly Place, Josh Sussman had continued his relationship with Disney through voice acting for Fish Hooks and Star Vs. The Forces of Evil.
