This post contains spoilers for Grey's Anatomy Season 21, episode 10: "Jump (For My Love)."

Thus far, Grey's Anatomy's 21st season has been an even mix of humor, emotion, and the usual tension between its main characters. Toss in the occasional reckless life-altering injury, a festering argument between friends (or two), and a medical emergency several doctors just happen to stumble upon while out in the world, and you've found yourself knee-deep in a classic Grey's trifecta.

Such is the case in this week's episode, "Jump (For My Love)." Richard and Meredith, though barely speaking, are forced to work together on a high-profile case. Jules, still bickering with Simone, might be hiding even more beneath the surface of her fury. Link's interactions with a recently divorced patient lead him to making a life-altering decision -- perhaps a good one this time. And no matter how hard Winston keeps trying to run from new possibilities of romance, he may finally have to face his fears and take a chance at love (again).

I love a good medically ethical dilemma, especially when there's drama woven into it and none of our favorite doctors are at fault. The revelation that Catherine had nothing to do with the altered medical records and that she, too, has been blindsided by someone else's bad decision-making actually puts her in a good position for once. And even though Richard and Meredith still have to work through their issues, at least they're getting closer to a truce.

And I can't help but feel heartbroken for Winston -- the way he and Maggie ended things will always bother me, and I actually do think he of all people deserves to find someone who truly makes him happy again. But he's one step closer to being ready to really try to find someone this time, even if things aren't going to work out quite the way he'd hoped.

It didn't take long to figure out the Bailey had orchestrated this whole intern bonding experience to get Jules to open up, but you have to admit her plan worked flawlessly. Grey's Anatomy fans always say with each new intern class that no group will ever top M.A.G.I.C., but for me this might be the first cast that embodies that same familial energy. Okay, the acronym doesn't work out quite as well, but what can you do?

And we can't talk about this episode without acknowledging the tear-jerking proposal at the end! Listen, if Alex leaving is what it took for both Jo and Link to finally be happy, I'll allow it. It's been a while since Grey's has made me cry. And what a way to do it. Props to everyone involved.
