Who is performing at the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?
The 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the best ways to kick off this year’s holiday season. Infused with balloons, guest performers, floats, high school marching bands, and wonderment. While we wish the weather were warmer, the magic of the parade makes up for it.
Part of that magic is owed to the guest performers; this year, they’re more significant than ever! There’ll be an eclectic mix of rock and pop with some childhood favorites. Back when Macy’s started the parade in 1924, performers were not part of the attractions, but as the years went on and the event became more popular, famous artists were added to the lineup.
Last year, we were gifted by Mariah Carey when she was added a few days before the parade, which only illuminated the show’s magic. If there’s a symbol of all things Christmas, it’s Mariah.
It’s 2023 and the 97th year, and we can’t wait to watch the guest performers, as we do every year. With that said, what big names will be singing on the fantastic floats?

Legendary pop star and Grammy winner Cher will be the headliner for this year’s parade. Joining her will be R&B singer Brandy, the acapella group Pentatonix, David Foster and Katherine McPhee, Ashley Park, rock band Chicago, Jessie James Decker, En Vogue, Enhypen, Alex Smith, Bell Biv Devoe, Drew Halcomb and the Neighbors, Amanda Shaw, Manuel Turizo, Paul Russell, Jon Batiste, and Miss America winner, Grace Stanke.
That’s seventeen performers for this year, and let’s not forget the marching bands and Broadway stars, for their talent is just as valuable and part of New York itself.
