#1. “S.O.S.”

Coming in at the top spot for the best single from the Jonas Brothers’ self-titled album is “S.O.S.” I’m sure everyone who has listened to the Jonas Brothers at least a handful of times, saw this one coming. If not, then maybe it’s time to brush up on your Jonas knowledge.

Despite being the third single from the album, “S.O.S.” instantly became a fan-favorite and is another one that fans get extremely excited about. In true Jonas fashion, this was accompanied by an amazing music video and lots of live performances featuring this song. You couldn’t go anywhere without hearing this song back then.

When it comes to self-titled tracks, most people either think of this one or “Year 3000,” which makes sense. “S.O.S” is a great one to sing to, have a dance party or just to get yourself hyped with. It has some fun lyrics including the “Hugs are overrated/Just FYI” and “It’s like I’m walking on broken glass, better believe I bled.” It’s an incredibly dramatic song but it has those teenage feelings and angst we all could relate to.

As far as the Jonas Brothers self-titled album goes, I remember listening to this over and over again so I’m surprised more songs weren’t named singles. Regardless, every single one of these is great so I can see why they chose them. In addition, the band wrote all the songs for the album aside from one which is “Year 3000.”
