Is Dairy Queen closed on Labor Day? (2023)
If you find yourself craving something from Dairy Queen on Labor Day, consider yourself lucky as Labor Day is not a holiday that Dairy Queen closes its doors on. Surprisingly, the only two holidays all DQ locations are closed are Thanksgiving and Christmas. As such, DQ locations across the US should be open on Monday serving up sweet treats throughout the day.
With summer nearing its end, the fall menu has officially been rolled out giving you plenty of new options to choose from including an assortment of Blizzard treats!
Now, if you are heading out to your local DQ this holiday, it never hurts to call ahead just to make sure your nearest location is not closing early or closed entirely as there is a chance franchise locations could choose to close for the holiday. However, it’s not expected that most DQ locations will be closing for the holiday, which makes sense given it’s a perfect day to enjoy some ice cream as summer comes to an end.
