Christina Lauren is one of the best romance writing duos out there. The two best friends have made a career out of happily-ever-afters including The Honeymoon Crashers.
While you might recognize the first book, The Unhoneymooners, the two decided to share a fun and flirty new audio exclusive. Entitled The Honeymoon Crashers, this book is 1.5 in the Unhoneymooners series and definitely opens the door for me.
The story follows Ami, Olive’s twin and maid-of-honor for her wedding, and Brody, the best man. From there, we watch as these two slowly unravel each other’s walls and begin to form a friendship that quickly turns into more.
Considering how short this book is, I don’t want to give away too much but it’s one of my favorites from Christina Lauren. The Honeymoon Crashers is a fun romp set amidst the backdrop of a wedding but full of fun and sexy moments between our two main characters.
See a fun clip from The Honeymoon Crashers featuring Harry Shum Jr.
Since this is an audio-only release, the production on The Honeymoon Crashers is amazing and features Jessica Marie Garcia as Ami while Harry Shum Jr is Brody. I don’t know who decided to pair these two up but I adored them. That’s why I’m happy to share a clip of Harry Shum Jr narrating a scene.
Whether you’re a fan of Shum or are excited about this new release from Christina Lauren, I feel like The Honeymoon Crashers is a perfect quick read for this summer. It would also be great for beach reading or just picking up if you’re in a reading slump. You’ll be laughing and smiling before the end of the book, guaranteed so let’s not waste any more time and you can enjoy.
Whether you’re a new romance reader or just love Harry Shum Jr, I feel like seeing him reading this excerpt is enough to make you want to pick it up. Of course, I ended up loving it so I can highly recommend it on my end. I’d like to thank Christina Lauren, Simon & Schuster, and Leo PR for getting everything together to share with you.
The Honeymoon Crashers by Christina Lauren is out now where audiobooks are sold.
