Keke Palmer Claps Back at Boyfriend’s Criticism with T-shirt
Actress and singer-songwriter Keke Palmer is accustomed to being in the news but in the last week, she’s been featured prominently during a moment the Nope star probably wants to forget.
Palmer’s personal life has been the talk of social media after her boyfriend and the father of her child Darius Jackson criticized her fashion choices. The scandal started after Palmer wore a black, form-fitting bodysuit and matching sheer dress to an Usher concert in Las Vegas.
After a video surfaced of Palmer at the concert interacting with the R&B singer, Jackson took to Twitter to voice his displeasure at his girlfriend’s wardrobe choice.
"“It’s the outfit tho…you a mom.”"
Since Jackson’s outburst, Palmer had been relatively quiet, but her latest stunt shows that she’s throwing shade right back at him.

Jackson’s social media feed was flooded with angry commenters who called him out for his insecurity. But the fitness instructor quickly defended his actions in a Twitter statement.
"“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”"
Jackson then deleted his social media accounts amid the growing backlash. However, he soon reactivated his accounts, but all photos of Palmer were deleted.
Palmer and Jackson have been dating since 2021, and they welcomed their first child, son Leodis in February 2023. The fashion drama has sparked speculation about the status of the couple’s relationship.
Both parties are remaining mum on their relationship, however, Palmer isn’t resisting clapping back at Jackson’s fashion criticism. On Friday, the singer announced the release of two new shirts in her merchandise store.
One shirt has the slogan “I’M A MOTHA,” while the other shirt says “Stevie to the bull****”
Palmer’s new merchandise pokes fun at her boyfriend’s fashion critique. Unlike Jackson, Palmer’s tweet has garnered support from fans.
In the battle over this newly-created dress-gate, it’s 100% apparent that Palmer has won this round.
