The Fourth of July has finally arrived which for many means a day off from work and the chance to finally take care of some of those many items on your to-do list.

You’re also likely wondering whether the DMV will be open today or if you should save yourself a trip. So is July 4 one of the many days on the calendar that the Department of Motor Vehicles does not operate during normal business hours?
