Authors are dealing with a lot aside from writing but none more than Emily McIntire. She’s been battling breast cancer and going to chemo for treatment which has been a long process the author has been documenting.

Recently, her publisher, Bloom Books decided to shower her with some love. For those who follow McIntire, you can see that she’s been in a lot of pain and has been dealing with a lot on top of everything else she’s doing.

While I’ve talked about ways to support her, I figured it was only right to do another post and shift the focus to something else. Of course, if you like her books or just want to send some love, you can comment on her posts, tweet her or share any love or well-wishes on any of her social media pages.

I feel like everyone discovered Emily McIntire in 2021 and from there, she really ended up becoming a staple in the bookish world. You couldn’t turn around without seeing someone recommend Hooked as a dark romance or in a reimaging story. Either way, it was an amazing thing to witness.

In honor of that, I wanted to feature Crossed as a book for preordering. While preordering might not seem like a big deal, it really is. Firstly, it’s a great way to be able to get a copy of the book and know you’ll be able to have it. Additionally, it shows the publisher how much interest readers have so they can work better with the author. Say that there are 50,000 preorders which is huge so they’ll know readers are that excited.

Another perk with preordering is that some authors have preorder perks but that’s not always a thing and with everything she has going on, there’s no way. Regardless of which avenue you go down or where you decide to preorder, the important thing is that you do it so you can show Emily McIntire even more love.
