As the Fourth of July falls on a Monday, many of us get to kick back and enjoy the holiday without the stress of work. It also means that many businesses are closed for the holiday which can make it difficult to determine who will or won’t be open on the holiday including the banks.

While it’s generally easier to keep track of when the banks will be closed on some of the bigger holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, the same isn’t always the case for holidays such as the Fourth of July.

Are banks open on July 4? (2023)

Unfortunately, if you’re in need of making a trip out to your local bank on the Fourth of July, we have some bad news for you. Like the post office, banks close their doors for federal holidays and do not operate during their normal business hours.

There is some good news though! While most banks will be closed on the Fourth of July, you will still be able to utilize mobile banking apps for select services. You will also be able to access ATMs to make certain transactions, as ATMs will remain open for the holiday as well.

Is Chase open on July 4, 2023?

Unfortunately, Chase Banks will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. While Chase branches will be closed for the holiday, Chase customers will still be able to use the bank’s ATMs to make select transactions as well as the Chase App and website.

Is Wells Fargo open on July 4, 2023?

If you were hoping to run into Wells Fargo on July 4 to take care of any items on your to-do list, we regret to inform you the bank will not be open on the Fourth of July. Although Wells Fargo locations will be closed for the holiday, customers can still access Wells Fargo ATMs and make select transactions via the bank’s website and app.

Is US Bank open on July 4, 2023?

Like its competitors, Chase and Wells Fargo, US Bank will not be open during its normal hours of business on July 4 in observation of the holiday. Also like with Chase and Wells Fargo, US Bank customers will still be permitted to access ATMs and make certain transactions online on July 4. Just don’t expect to be able to run into your actual bank to take care of any matters.

Are banks open on July 5, 2023?

If you’re in need of making a run to the bank on July 5, you’re in luck. While banks will be closed on July 4 due to the Fouth of July holiday, banks will be open on Wednesday, July 5! While it doesn’t hurt to confirm your local bank’s hours on July 5, rest assured you will be able to make a trip to the bank if needed on Wednesday!
