2. “Delicate”

Coming into the top two, I already knew what #1 would be, yet I had no idea which single would take the second spot. Upon re-listening to Reputation though, I decided to go with “Delicate” as it surprised me. I feel like everyone focuses on Taylor’s more badass songs from this album yet “Delicate” is a surprising mix of being badass while also being sparkly and lovey.

“Delicate” ended up at #2 on my list for a few reasons including the fact that it did reference reputation within its lyrics which is such a fun Easter Egg. Additionally, “Delicate” had one of the most memorable music videos. Last but certainly not least, it’s one of those singles that will automatically make you want to get up and dance as soon as it comes on.

If it’s been a while since you’ve listened to Reputation, I feel like going back and listening to this song again is a must. It feels like the perfect connection between 1989 Taylor and Reputation Taylor without falling too much on one side so it ended up being my #2 pick.

1. “Getaway Car”

That means the #1 single from Reputation has to be “Getaway Car.” I feel like everyone talks about this song and rightfully so. There is something so undeniably amazing about this song and every time fans hear it, they get hyped. This song tells a story and paints such a vivid picture in your mind that you can’t help but fall in love with it.

“Getaway Car” is the ultimate mix of romance with adventure and frankly not caring about your reputation. Coupled with the incredible lyrics and fun beat, I know we’ve all screamed sang this one at least once, and danced our butts off. If you haven’t, you’re lying to me and yourself.

Either way, I feel like no single could top this one. “Getaway Car” is a fan-favorite for good reason and there isn’t much more to be said about it.
