Nancy Drew is back for its final season! And they kick things off with a bang that includes a curse, missing bodies, and a Lover’s Vigil. On top of handling a town-wide event and trying to solve her cases, Nancy is also dealing with a broken heart thanks to the curse placed against her and Ace by her own ancestor.

Of course, things fall right off the rails pretty quickly for the Drew Crew as Ace ends up being arrested for the same missing bodies that Nancy is trying to find (or at least the case she is trying to solve). So why did Ace get arrested? Because apparently the police found an arm and they linked it to him since it was apparently buried in his yard.

However, while trying to prove Ace’s innocence, Nancy and Ned stumble across a body, unburying itself and walking away from its own grave. It’s unlikely that anyone else will believe them, but it’s clear that the bodies weren’t stolen, they walked away. It’s clear this really is a case for Nancy Drew.

Nancy Drew is back for a fourth season of cases, drama, and even romance

With Nancy and the other members of the Drew Crew working together, they are slowly piecing together what is happening with these bodies. And hopefully, they will be able to find proof that not only is Ace innocent but exactly what is going on with these missing bodies.

Of course, it’s not just the case that is important in this episode, as we also see Bess in a new role in the town and with a new relationship, plus Ned and George are still trying to come to terms with the end of their engagement. And then we have the dads. Nancy Drew’s fathers are dealing with their own issues, especially Ryan, who is finally realizing that he might be in some trouble with a couple that is on the hunt for artifacts to sell on the black market.

But back to the case of the missing bodies! When Nancy, Ace, Bess, and Ned figure out where the bodies will be that night, they immediately head out to the point where the town of Horseshoe Bay was founded. And not only do all of the bodies show up as expected but so does the new chief of police, who got a text from Nancy in order to prove that Ace was innocent.

While Nancy was able to prove that Ace is innocent, there is still a mystery to be solved. And they better solve it soon since it looks like something bad is coming and it all revolves around those bodies.
