When most people think of romantic comedies, the name Ashton Kutcher doesn’t usually come to mind. However, Mr. Kutcher has done his fair share of romantic comedies.

To me, there are a few others who come to mind such as Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, or Tom Hanks which is part of why romcoms are so beloved. Within the last 80s, 90s, and early 00s, romcoms were a huge part of pop culture.

However, within the 2010s, it felt as if romantic comedies seemed to fade for a bit but it seems like we’re finally seeing a resurgence of the genre. There are so many exciting films on the cusp including Ashton Kutcher’s return to the genre which is Your Place or Mine.

If you’re excited about Your Place or Mine coming to Netflix, then you might be wanting to dive into Ashton Kutcher’s romantic comedy roles so let’s break them down.

Which romantic comedies has Ashton Kutcher starred in before 2023?

If you grew up watching romantic comedies in the 2000s and 2010s, then Ashton Kutcher should be a familiar face to you. However, if you haven’t and end up either enjoying Your Place or Mine or want to revisit his movies, you’re in luck because we’re listing all of the romantic comedies he’s been in.

As you can see, for a while there, Ashton Kutcher was really leaning into the romantic comedy genre and it’ll be nice to see him going back to it. Honestly, he’s one of those guys who can play swoony yet still be funny which isn’t always easy. While I do enjoy some of his later roles in the genre, I will say that one of my favorites is Just Married. I feel like the chemistry between him and Brittany Murphy was just amazing.

However, I’ll be excited to see how he does in Your Place or Mine with Reese Witherspoon. I feel like Reese Witherspoon tends to have amazing chemistry no matter who she’s paired with. If you’re looking to watch some romcom favorites with Ashton Kutcher, then those are your options.
