January’s free games for the PlayStation Plus Essential tier were mind-blowingly good. Which makes it hard for February to live up to anything close to that.

But it comes pretty close. And this month, we get four free games!

Here are your free games for the month of February:

  • Evil Dead: The Game
  • OlliOlliWorld
  • Destiny 2: Beyond Light
  • Mafia: Definitive Edition

Evil Dead: The Game is your asymmetric online multiplayer game for February. You play as a team of four survivors in a game based on all three movies and the television show. Explore, loot, and find the items to seal the breach between worlds if you play as Ash or be the Kandarian Demon and hunt Ash and the others and try to steal their souls! It’s solid multiplayer if you’re into that.

OlliOlli World is your side-scrolling skateboarder game and it was released just last year. This takes a big leap for the series, as it’s the first 3D game of the series and may remind you of Adventure Time visually. They also give you more technical add-ins to create level-long combos for the most hardcore of players, but it doesn’t make it any harder for someone jumping into the series. Honestly, this game is a solid escape from the world, enveloping you in its bright visuals, world setting, and characters.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is an expansion for Destiny 2 that was released in 2020, and it’s most likely included in this month’s freebies because Lightfall releases on February 28th. You can download the base Destiny 2 game for free to get access to Beyond Light. I mean, what really needs to be said? It’s Destiny 2. And Beyond Light gives you a darker story for the series but also falls short in the length of the campaign.

Last up is Mafia: Definitive Edition. It’s the remake of the 2002 game that boosts the graphics and keeps it open world but still relatively linear. You’re thrown into a 1930s version of Lost Heaven, aka a solid Chicago-esque city, and honestly? Not much has changed from the original. This is a very faithful remake with free-roam still being a separate mode, and if you want your gangster fix, this is it for February. If you want a real challenge, try the racing level on realistic difficulty.
