The holiday season is drawing to a close. Halloween is done, Thanksgiving has come and gone and you survived Christmas. Now, all that’s left is New Year’s Eve. That means one final supply run. Foods, snacks, drinks, gift returns, and cleaning supplies to not only prep for the final party of the year but the inevitable cleanup that comes after it.

Most people aren’t going to want to wake up early the next day to go shopping, so it’s always good to get everything you need on the day of. So that means if you’re going to Target, you go to Target for everything you need, and limit the number of trips.

The only issue is, if you’re in need of going to Target today, you may be wondering if they’re even open and you’d be right to wonder that. New Year’s Eve does shutter many places completely or at least partially.

So can you run to Target on New Year’s Eve this year?

What are Target’s hours of operation on New Year’s Eve?

The good news is that Target is open on New Year’s Eve, but what about their hours of operation? It does look like most stores will be open but some may not be open as long as usual. Though, it may not be closed too soon.

Most stores are usually open until 9 or 10 PM local time, and while some may be open a bit longer, or close a bit earlier, that seems to be the norm. On New Year’s Eve, will close early but not by much, with most places closing up at 9 PM local time.

So you’ll lose about an hour of shopping time but that’s not bad.
