You’d better make the trip there today while you might be out running errands, as the post office is expected to close its doors for New Year’s Day. That means you won’t be able to go in tomorrow, Jan. 1.

While regular mail will be delivered today on New Year’s Eve, there will not be mail tomorrow on New Year’s Day.
