December has been a month of featuring holiday romance books. For the final round of December, I wanted to feature another holiday romance.

Obviously, the only major holiday left in the year is New Year’s Eve so I wanted to feature a romance book set around NYE. You might be surprised to know just how many books are centered around the new year.

In honor of that, I wanted to feature an author I recommend you check out before the year ends and have on your radar in 2023 which is Katrina Jackson. She has such an extensive catalog that includes some holiday romances, dark romances, and generally books I’ve loved in the past.

While she has two NYE romances, I’ve only read one so I’m featuring Grand Theft N.Y.E.

This week’s #TBRTrending is Grand Theft N.Y.E. by Katrina Jackson.

It’s the final #TBRTrending of 2022 and honestly, I’m featuring a book I read months ago but have been dying to talk about. With a title like Grand Theft N.Y.E, you wouldn’t be surprised to know that this book follows Cleo who is basically a scammer she’s essentially her doing her job but she ends up getting wrapped up with another man.

Obviously, you have to suspend your disbelief for this one, but it’s a lot of fun as it’s incredibly sexy, features lots of action, and has two compelling characters. Me, I really loved Cleo as a character and I loved how much Robert couldn’t get enough of her after only being around her for one night.

While this book does take place on NYE, it’s one you can really read any time of year because it’s just so fun and fast-paced. I read this one while my nephew was napping so at least you’ll know it’s a quick and fun one. Plus if you haven’t read Katrina Jackson before, I feel like this is a good one to start with as it gives you a taste of her writing style and how she sets up her stories without jumping into a full-length novel.
