Giant can be lost in the mix among the big grocery store chains. There are many other options, but the grocery chain always seems to have a good selection.

Obviously, it’s going to be based on the location, but most stores tend to have both a pharmacy and a gas station. It’s basically a 3-in-1 if you’re looking to get your shopping done, get your medicines, and grab gas all in one area.

For most of us with busy schedules, that’s something to be excited about and something the store has prided itself on for decades. Plus the more you shop, the more you’re able to save when it comes to gas.

Regardless of how you’re spending your Christmas, Giant might be on your list but is the store open or closed on Christmas Day?

Giant Christmas Hours

You might be surprised to learn that Giant is set to be open on Christmas Day. Frankly, I was a bit shocked as most stores around me are closed. According to the Pioneer Woman blog, most stores will be open from 8 am until 5 pm. However, that’s only going to be the actual store, not the pharmacy or grab-and-go.

Before you decide to venture out to your local Giant though, it’s good to check and see that the store is actually open. As mentioned above, it was said that most stores were open so your local Giant might actually be closed on that day. It is always better to double-check things before venturing out on Christmas Day, though.

While the shelves might be a little bare on account of everyone waiting until the last minute, Giant is a good option to either grab something last-minute or grab a few small things to cook especially if you’re eating solo. Even if you aren’t, I’m sure not many of us are headed out on Christmas Day and instead, are spending time with family and friends.
