Christmas shopping can be a stressful time for many. Stores around the country sometimes extended holiday hours to accommodate all the shoppers, but it can still be hard to get everything you need to in such a busy time. We all know it’s important to plan ahead when shopping for Christmas gifts, but the same goes for food shopping, too. Now that today is Christmas Eve, it’s crunch time to get all the last-minute items from the grocery store.

Can Food Lion customers make a quick stop at the store this Christmas Day? Here’s what we know!

Is Food Lion closed on Christmas, December 25?

According to Store Holiday Hours, most Food Lion locations will be closed on Christmas Day. The grocery store should be open at most locations on Christmas Eve, but will likely have limited hours. So if you need your food shopping done ASAP for the big holiday tomorrow, be sure to call your local Food Lion to confirm their hours.

Chances are, you might be able to get in a quick Food Lion run on Christmas Eve, but you can rule out being able to go on Dec. 25, 2022.

If you really need to go grocery shopping on Christmas Day, there are other chains that will open their doors on the holiday. According to Country Living, the following stores should be open on Dec. 25, though with limited hours: Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Publix, Target, Walmart, and more.

Food Lion is a grocery store company that was founded in 1957, and it’s now one of the largest grocery store chains in the United States. The company specializes in providing fresh, quality products at affordable prices. They also offer a wide selection of organic and natural products, as well as everyday essentials. In addition to grocery stores, Food Lion also offers pharmacies and fuel centers. It’s a great place to shop, but unfortunately not on Christmas Day.
