Is Lowe’s open on Thanksgiving? (2022)
By Cody Schultz
You’ve just set the table. Dinner is almost over. You’re doing a sweep of the house to make sure everything is in order and then a pipe randomly bursts. Or perhaps there’s a kitchen mishap that leaves you in need of doing some last-minute and unexpected home repairs on the fly.
If you’re the handy type, your first thought might be to access the situation, make a list of supplies you’ll need to fix the problem, and prepare to head out the door to your local Lowe’s store for a supply run.
Normally, this is a foolproof plan. However, the Thanksgiving holiday could throw a wrench in your plan due to the fact that many stores end to close their doors for the holiday.
Is Lowe’s closed on Thanksgiving? (2022)
If you find yourself in need of tending to an unexpected home improvement project on Thanksgiving, you might have to open up your wallet for a repairman as Lowe’s will not be open on Thanksgiving this year. As such, you won’t be able to head to your local store for any supply runs.
Lowe’s joins a growing list of retailers who will be closing their doors for the holidays and will not be keeping normal business hours on Thanksgiving. So if you happen to head out to a Lowe’s in your area on Nov. 24, don’t be surprised when the doors are closed.
The good news is that stores will reopen on Friday, so if your repairs can wait a day you can expect to be able to pick up your needed supplies on Nov. 25 when doors reopen.
