Is Home Depot open on Thanksgiving? (2022)
By FanSided
Home Depot is a go-to store for people involved in home improvement or part of businesses that need supplies for their construction-esque jobs. It’s a handy store that’s located nationally — likely with a store near you.
Home Depot is usually open to the public seven days a week. The hours vary, but there’s always an opportunity for people to visit for whatever they need, whether it’s paint, searching for hardwood floors, or even renting a truck.
None of this sounds necessary for Thanksgiving, however — 2022’s next holiday. It takes place on Thursday, Nov. 24.
On this national holiday, most stores close, allowing their workers to take off for the day and spend time with their families. Some have to return for Black Friday, but they at least enjoy the feast that’s Thanksgiving, with all the food necessary to enjoy while not working.
From turkey to mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables, and tempting desserts, it’s a day to indulge and avoid focusing on home improvement.
Is Home Depot closed on Thanksgiving? (2022)
With that said, is Home Depot open on Thanksgiving? For those who think they need to go there, the answer is no. Check your local location to ensure this, but Home Depot stores will not open on this holiday.
That may disappoint people who don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, as they can’t take advantage of the slow business day for their personal or business needs. This will change by Black Friday, so it’s 24 hours for everyone to endure.
Home Depot will be one of the thousands of stores closed on this holiday. Instead, look out for its Black Friday hours, with the potential for door-busting deals on the latest products.
