It’s another month of pretty solid PlayStation Plus free games for the Essential tier members. This is good because we still have some time to waste before God of War: Ragnarok releases.

Below are your free games for the month of November:

  • Nioh 2
  • Lego Harry Potter Collection
  • Heavenly Bodies

Breaking down the November benefits for Playstation Plus

First up is Nioh 2, the sequel to the Soulslike first installment, and if you have a PS5, you get the remastered version! If you’re a fan of the Souls games or played the first Nioh but haven’t played this one, now is the perfect time. These games sometimes feel harder than a From Software game, but that makes the payoff for finally beating a tough enemy that much better.

The combat excels above the first game (which is saying something) and truly is the star. They added in equipable yokai skills that add an extra layer into combat and it really kicks things up a notch.

It’s not surprising to see Lego Harry Potter Collection as one of the offerings, what with Hogwarts Legacy releasing on February 10, 2023. This one is both Years 1-4 and Years 5-7, so you have… well, the entire collection. If you’re a fan of the Lego brand of games, these are some of their best. It’s Lego and Harry Potter; what else needs to be said?

Last up for November is Heavenly Bodies, which shoots you into space as an astronaut in this physics-based puzzler. You can play alone or in co-op mode, but either way it’s going to be a strange game to play. Firstly, you have control of your arms and legs and it takes some getting used to. And all of that is thrown out the window when you’re upside down and the controls get swapped/reversed.

Truly this is a game about patience (which goes hand in hand with Nioh 2′s Soulslike playstyle). But sometimes it’s hard to be patient when the idea of floating off into the vastness of space because you can’t quite grasp something or move in the correct direction is right in your face. Take a deep breath and see if you can work past it.,
