Is Target open on Labor Day 2023?

Labor Day is just around the corner and that means plenty of people will have the day off and be looking for things to do. And what better way to spend the day than at Target, right?

Target is a glorious, but dangerous place. There is no other store where you can walk in to buy one thing and then end up leaving with twenty different things that you never knew you needed. It makes it the perfect store to go to when you have a day off and nothing to do.

That’s especially the case with school just starting and fall just around the corner. There are a ton of things you may need to pick up including last-minute school supplies (who doesn’t need a new notebook? ) or some new fall clothes.

Labor Day is also the unofficial end of summer so there will be plenty of barbecues and parties to celebrate. If you need to pick up any final items, Target is the perfect place to go.

But that only works if the store is actually open on Labor Day.

Is Target open on Labor Day? (2023)

Luckily, Target will be open on Monday, Sept 3, 2023. It’s open on almost all holidays except for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. That being said, you should still check your local Target to ensure they don’t have different hours for the holiday.

So no matter if you need a new dress and pair of shoes or want to get a patio set on sale, Target is definitely the place to go this holiday weekend (as if we needed an excuse!).
