Is Big Brother new tonight on CBS? (July 8, 2022)

The new season of Big Brother is officially underway! On July 6, 16 new houseguests entered the Big Brother house to begin their fight to become the latest houseguest to take home the grand prize and CBS wasted no time in tossing them right into the deep end.

Before they could even explore the house or truly start getting to know one another, the contestants were ushered right to the back yard where they competed for the first HOH title of the season. Not only was a new HOH crowned, but the episode also introduced one of the season’s first twists with the Big Brother Backstage Boss twist.

This new twist saw Pooch named the first Backstage Boss of the season, a role that will prevent him from competing or voting this week, but that also will keep him safe for the week. This being Big Brother, the title also came with an unexpected downfall in that he had to select three houseguests to join him — the twist being that while these three individuals also can’t compete, be nominated or vote, there is still a chance they could be sent packing!

Is there a new episode of Big Brother tonight? (July 8, 2022)

After this new twist was dropped on us at the end of the episode, we hoped to learn more in a Thursday night episode on July 7 but CBS opted not to air a new episode that evening. Sadly, the wait is going to continue as there will not be a new episode of Big Brother airing this Friday night.

While we’d love to have been able to see what’s next tonight, our wait for answers is going to have to wait until Sunday, July 10 when CBS airs the next new episode of the season.
