It’s still full steam ahead for Xbox and its Games with Gold.

Many gamers thought Microsoft might shake things up with the revamp of Sony’s PlayStation Plus last month, but with the latest announcement for the July offerings, it looks like it’s status quo now.

Here are your games for July and the dates they’re available to download:

  • Beasts of Maravilla Island, July 1 to 31
  • Relicta, July 16 to August 15
  • Thrillville: Off the Rails, July 1 to 15
  • Torchlight, July 16 to 31

July highlights for Xbox Games with Gold members

Beasts of Maravilla Island will give you big Pokémon Snap vibes. You play as a photographer on a mysterious island, cataloging the creatures and terrain. There are definitely more puzzles to solve than Snap, making it different enough to give it a chance. Plus the playthrough is only a few hours long, so you don’t have to sink too much time into it.

Relicta is your creepy sci-fi adventure this month. You play as a scientist on a deserted moon base, using magnetism and gravity to solve physics puzzles. It’s up to you to save your daughter’s life… and possibly all of humanity as well, but no pressure. If you love your puzzle adventures, this one’s for you.

Next up is Thrillville: Off the Rails, which is a RollerCoaster Tycoon knock-off. Granted, it’s more than that with over 100 missions to complete and dozens of minigames to play. You build your theme park and create your own roller coasters. It’s nothing groundbreaking, especially since it was released in 2007.

Last up is Torchlight, your Diablo-like for the month, and probably the best game offered. It’s from an isometric POV and has the same kind of looping playstyle as Diablo with three different classes to choose from for your character. Don’t be looking for much of a story in the game–you’re really just there to loot, loot, loot, and upgrade your character and weapons. If you want a mindless grinder of a game, this is yours for the month!
