Is Publix closed on Easter? (Publix Easter 2022 hours)
By Cody Schultz
Publix might not be a national chain, but it’s a go-to retailer for those in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia, it’s one of the most popular grocery stores and a go-to destination for those in need of some odds and ends.
While many of us try our best to get all of our holiday shopping done before the holiday, there always ends up being one thing that falls through the cracks. Be it an ingredient for a dish or a gift for someone on your Easter shopping list, there’s nothing more stressful than when you need to head out to pick up one last item on a holiday.
Not only do stores tend to be quite busy on holidays — filled with others out doing some last-minute shopping — but it can be so hard to know which stores happen to be open. This is because many stores choose to close for certain holidays, making it difficult to know which will and won’t be open when it comes time to head out for a last-minute shopping trip.
Is Publix open on Easter? (2022)
If you’re hoping to head out to your local Publix this Easter, we’ve got some bad news for you. The grocery chain will not be open on Easter as it’s one of the many holidays the grocery chain recognizes and closes its doors for.
While some of the larger box stores such as Walmart will remain open during their usual hours on Easter, Publix will be closing its doors for the holiday and won’t open again until Monday, April 18. So if you need to pick up any last-minute Easter supplies on Sunday, you’ll want to save yourself a trip to Publix and instead head to an alternative retailer.
