While it’s often easy to identify whether the Walmarts and Targets of the world are open, it can be more difficult to identify whether stores such as Aldi are open on holidays such as Easter.

Is Aldi closed on Easter 2022?

If you’re about to head out the door to make a trip to your local Aldi, let us help save you from a wasted trip! While there are some stores that will remain open on Easter Sunday, Aldi is not one of them as the national chain will be closing its doors on Easter this year.

Easter is one of a handful of holidays Aldi closes its doors for each year so you’ll want to plan accordingly and make sure to head out before your local store closes today, April 16, to pick up the final items on your shopping list.

There is one notable exception to this closing, however. As noted on the official Aldi website, California stores will not be closing their doors for Easter Sunday. As such, if you happen to be located in California, you should be able to still shop at your local store during its usual hours this Sunday — though it wouldn’t hurt to call ahead just to be sure they’re operating under usual hours.
