As the temperatures are finally starting to warm up across the country, many people — me included — might be feeling way more motivated than usual to get out and get to the gym. It can be tough to travel to the gym when it’s freezing or snowing out, but now that there’s sun and the air is nice again, going outside is a major win. And if you can get some exercise in while you’re out, more power to you!

Planet Fitness is one of the more popular gyms in America, with its no judgment rule attracting those who are new to fitness or just don’t want to be pressured into heavy lifting or extensive workouts. I’m a member and I love how casual it is. But now that I’m back on my gym grind, even I’m wondering — is Planet Fitness open or closed this Easter?

If you don’t celebrate Easter and want to continue your fitness schedule per usual or maybe you want to get in a quick workout before an Easter egg hunt with your family, we have good news! Most Planet Fitness locations will be open on Easter. However, some locations may have varying hours depending on what they decide. I noticed the one I go to has signs up noting their limited hours on Sunday.

This all means there’s a very good chance your local Planet Fitness will be open this Easter, however you should stop by or give them a call ahead of going just to make sure of their hours. They might open late or close early.

It can always be hard to tell what’ll be open and what’ll be closed on different holidays, but it’s good to know a trip to Planet Fitness is likely still an option for this special day.
