College football training has begun on All American, and it is far more complex than high school. Spencer James has always been the best player on the team, but that is not the case this time. As college training starts, Spencer struggles to get through his training schedule, which begins at six in the morning and ends at ten-thirty at night.

High school accomplishments, while remembered fondly, are not necessary anymore. This is the opportunity to prove what the players can do now, and while Jordan is succeeding in following his rigorous schedule and two snack breaks, Spencer has a more challenging time getting a handle on things.

Spencer has always dedicated himself to the game, but now he has to enhance his training to improve and embrace the new daily routine. Spencer’s day also finds him juggling training with fitting in time to spend with Olivia.

However, the complexity of the schedule has Olivia thinking, especially after hearing Jordan and Layla mention on two separate occasions that they are flourishing in long-distance relationships. Jordan explains that it would be more difficult for him to fit spending time with Simone into the two snack breaks he gets, and he may be more on top of things because Jordan has snacks during his breaks.

As for Layla, she does not consider her relationship with Clay to be serious, admitting that she has a better time with him when he is not around all the time. Layla is trying to build a label and dedicates her time to her work, something a full-time romantic relationship would only get in the way of.

Olivia is also working toward her future with her paid job at the L.A Tribune. However, rather than writing hard-hitting articles, Olivia’s role is more accustomed to paper jams and other issues around the office. Although it is not the thrilling role she was hoping for, Olivia understands that everyone starts at the bottom and works their way up. She even gets the chance to pitch some of her article ideas to her boss, even if Olivia is not the person to write the article.

All American pushed Spencer to be better, resulting in him choosing to wake up earlier than six in the morning to improve. Spencer wants to make a good impression on the coach and prove he is better than he showed on the field. He also needs to get a handle on time management, appearing to places on time or earlier while finding time to be with Olivia. Spencer is dedicating himself to proving he deserves to be on the team and field.

Will Spencer and Jordan succeed on the football field? What will become of Layla’s music label? Will Olivia flourish in journalism? All American is pushing everyone to dedicate themselves fucwther to their aspiring futures, and it seems only to be increasing the stakes.
