PlayStation Plus members are still waiting for the day when Sony announces that they’re combining PS Plus and PlayStation now and making it exactly like Xbox’s Game Pass.

Until that happens, however, we’ll keep looking forward to the new game offerings each month for this subscription service.

Below are your free games for February 2022:

  • EA Sports UFC 4
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure
  • Planet Coaster: Console Edition

Planet Coaster: Console Edition looks to be the PlayStation 5 offering for the month, so sorry if you’re on a PS4 and wanted to play it. Do you want a Sims game but with roller coasters? Do you want a new version of Roller Coaster Tycoon? That would be Planet Coaster. You will get 700 pre-made objects to play with that include rides to scenery to buildings. Just remember to keep things running as smoothly as possible and to keep it all profitable.

EA Sports UFC 4 is an MMA fighter game that was released in 2020. You may remember it from such controversies as having ridiculous full-blown commercials that popped up mid-game. EA later removed the ads after the insane backlash from players.

Advertisements aside, the fourth iteration in this UFC fighter game tightens up its career mode and makes it the best version so far. There are a few minigames that make things flow a little smoother. All in all, this isn’t anything groundbreaking from the rest of the series.

Last up is Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, the standalone version of the campaign add-on for Borderlands 2. If you love Borderlands and Ashly Burch… and also a bit of Dungeons and Dragons, this one is definitely for you if you haven’t played it yet. The campaign is set in the tabletop RPG Bunkers and Badasses and Tiny Tina is your dungeon master.

It’s the basis for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which releases on March 25. So, it’s not a surprise that it’s one of PlayStation’s free games this month.

New rumors have circulated regarding the future of PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. Nothing has been officially announced, but Bloomberg has a source that claims the new iteration will arrive sometime this spring and have three tiers of offerings, trying to combat Xbox’s Game Pass. It’ll be interesting to see if it comes to fruition.
