After bringing season 2 to a close with a few significant cliffhangers in Emily’s life, Netflix has revealed the show’s fate on the streaming service. Emily in Paris has officially been renewed for two more seasons.

Emily in Paris has gotten mixed reviews from critics and viewers, but its bubbly nature has surpassed any negative feedback.Instead, the series will continue its amusing and upbeat adventures that come from the escapism Emily in Paris offers its viewers. However, a renewal will also give the show time to address the storylines season two left unresolved.

Emily’s relationships with Gabriel and Camille remain up in the air after Emily is close to admitting her true feelings for Gabriel. With two upcoming seasons, Emily in Paris has the time to flesh out the characters and their relationships even more while knowing it can slow down and take some time to develop and explore the different dynamics.

Emily in Paris does not have to rush to the finish line to answer what will happen between the trio. It also keeps the door open for what may occur with Alfie.

However, two more seasons for Emily in Paris also gives the series a chance to broaden the scope and develop the supporting characters. Mindy, Sylvie, Camille, and Gabriel could benefit from gaining more screen time and depth.

Considering Sylvie’s plan to start a new marketing firm, that is a storyline that could take a significant amount of time moving forward, along with Emily’s decision of which job offer she will take.

Being renewed for two seasons simultaneously should allow Emily in Paris to create scenarios it knows the show can answer the following year. Fans can rest easier after an upcoming season 3,  knowing that whatever cliffhanger the show has in store, a renewal has already occurred for the show to answer any unresolved questions.
