Megan Thee Stallion is ending her 2021 on a high note.

Megan became a graduate of Texas Southern University in early December with a bachelor’s degree in health administration. She fought to get her after her mom passed in March 2019 from brain cancer.  She tweeted about her experience saying:

"“My college experience has been a roller coaster! I started at PV went to some community colleges in between and I’m ending at TSU. Don’t get discouraged! You can chase your dreams and your education at the same time.”"

Now, Megan is pushing her limits even more.  Megan has signed a first-look deal with Netflix to produce new series.

While there are no details on what her production role will entail, this is the first time Megan will step into a producer role. Megan previously appeared on NBC’s “Good Girls” and was a celebrity judge on HBO’s dance show “Legendary”.  Now Megan will have a direct role.

In this role, she will executive produce and create projects exclusive for Netflix. While her degree and studies were outside of the creative industry, her widely talented role and experience in the music industry are sure to pay off. And Netflix seems to be just as excited! Tracey Pakosta, head of comedy at Netflix said in a statement, “Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey.”
