New House of Gucci trailer is released

A new trailer for The House of Gucci trailer is out! Many may remember when Lady Gaga stole the screen on A Star is Born in 2018. Now, the star who has taken a backseat in Hollywood both on the screen and in the music world is back as socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who plans the murder of Maurizio Gucci, or her ex-husband.  Maurizio Gucci is the grandson of Guccio Gucci, who founded Gucci.  While the film is based on the 2001 book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden, the film is set to be hit with a cast that also includes Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino. The film takes place in the aftermath of the murder of Maurizio. Although Patrizia in real life was convicted of ordering his murder in 1998., she was released in 2014.

Of course, Gucci the brand has a legacy of its own but the way the trailer shows it with the words “a legacy to kill for” and “a name to die for” gives the viewer chills. Gucci has gained greater popularity in pop culture in recent times and the story stands great on its own.

In the trailer, the viewer also sees the family tension boiling as Aldo Gucci meets with the fellow family members to express his concerns that Lady Gaga’s character, or Patrizia Reggiani, is overstepping. He says, “Gucci is what I say it is. This is not a woman’s game. Remember that.”

But, the story has its turn of events, and if the second trailer says anything, Lady Gaga will shine again!
