Fear the Walking Dead season 7 continues with episode 3’s “Cindy Hawkins.” This time we check in on June and John Dorie Sr. and it looks like life in the bunker is giving them a case of cabin fever.

What is Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 3 about?

Here’s the synopsis of “Cindy Hawkins” from AMC: “June and Dorie’s routine in Teddy’s fallout shelter is disrupted when they discover the origins of their home and its sinister connections to Teddy’s past.”

June and John Dorie Sr. have been living underground since the missiles detonated. They have no sense of time or whether it’s night or day. In the preview (below) someone is keeping track of the number of days spent in the bunker and they’re on day 69.

Now, this isn’t just any fallout shelter. This bunker was Teddy’s bunker, and Teddy was planning to find a way to bring the world to an end so like the cult leader he was, he made sure to stock his bunker full of everything someone might need to survive until the fallout settles.

John spent a big portion of his life tracking Teddy, giving up a life with his son to pursue the serial killer. One of the reasons he couldn’t track him down is that Teddy was in his bunker and it might yield clues about what he was doing prior to his arrest.

Life in the bunker is going along pretty well, but some unwelcome guests on the surface start to cause problems. And how does Victor Strand factor in to everything?
