Riverdale goes full Rivervale in new Season 6 trailer

Riverdale is getting their Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on in the new Season 6 trailer that sees them going full-on Rivervale! (Did you get all that?!)

At the end of Season 5 of Riverdale, we saw Cheryl going all next level with the witchcraft and if that doesn’t spell trouble, I don’t know what does. And as we head into season 6, it looks like things are getting spookier than ever in this tiny town where murder, mysteries, and drama are an everyday occurrence.

In the new trailer for season 6, it quickly becomes clear that to kick off the season we are getting a five-episode event called Rivervale, which will see our characters getting a first-hand look at witchcraft, the Devil, and none other than Sabrina Spellman herself.

This trailer didn’t give anything away and yet it told us so much.

Riverdale welcomes Sabrina Spellman to the fold with a Rivervale storyline

Not only does it become clear that Sabrina and Cheryl already know each other, but it is likely because of Cheryl that Sabrina is in town. And it also seems like whatever Cheryl did at the end of season 5 is going to have a big impact on the town, as Archie finds himself in a field of runes/hexes.

Something wicked this way comes and all that spooky jazz. But we are still here for it. After all, it means that we are getting more of Sabrina Spellman.

It’s been a long time coming for this Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crossover with Riverdale. And now that it is here, we can’t wait to see how this shakes things up.

Of course, this trailer also left us wondering what exactly is happening with Archie and Betty after that I wanna have your baby moment. But this is Riverdale and we expect the unexpected and the ridiculous. So what’s a little witchcraft in the mix.
