If thrills are what you’re after, then these two books should give you that.

The next recommendation is one related to our favorite toxic couple: Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn-Goldberg. These two are truly a match made in hell as evidenced by the past two seasons so this next book is fitting. Entitled “My Lovely Wife” by Samantha Downing, this thriller gives us a seemingly normal husband and wife team with the perfect life, perfect family, and the perfect hobby to bring them together.

This perfect hobby you might ask? Yeah, it’s killing people and that’s just the start of “My Lovely Wife.” While the book had its predictable moments, it doesn’t skimp on the thrills and chills especially when it comes to their relationship. I don’t want to give too much away but this one mirrors Season 3 in a lot of ways. If you want something with that same Joe and Love toxicity, killing included, then give “My Lovely Wife” a try.

The other recommendation relies more on Joe’s obsession with finding his perfect match no matter what he has to do and John Marrs’ “The One” takes it a step further. This book follows multiple characters and their storylines as they’ve all been matched with someone. It’s a DNA service in which you’re perfectly matched with your soulmate or “the one” you’re supposed to end up with based on your DNA.

The plotline sounds a little strange, but it only goes from there as John Marrs weaves so many stories together while making you invest in each character and their struggles. This is another one that’s delightful on audiobook as it features a full cast. This one is incredibly dramatic so if you loved the drama of Season 3 and how much Joe is willing to do to have “his one,” then this should be right up your alley.
